Situation
Overview.
A well-known maker of motorized vehicles had been using another
vendor to produce plastic motor covers for motorized carts. Demand
for the product was on the rise and the customer did not have
confidence in their current supplier's production capacity. PSM
was contacted to solve the problem. |

The
Solution.
After researching the situation, PSM identified some deficiencies
in the design of the current motor cover. Simply stated, the
covers were unattractive. Working closely with the customer,
PSM designed an attractive cover utilizing a new streamlined
design with contemporary colors. |

The
Results.
The new covers helped enhance the look of the motorized cart.
As a result, sales increased as did the company's share of market.
Today PSM and the cart manufacturer continue to research product
improvements that will further grow their share of market. |
Situation

A maker of personal calendars and notebooks needed a display
unit with the flexibility to feature a diverse product line in
a variety of retail settings. The customer was looking for an
attractive, light weight, durable and economical unit. Several
materials were being considered including wire, corrugate and
masonite. |

Solution.
Versatility was the key to PSM winning the job. Using a variety
of materials and processes including vacuum forming, 5-axis CNC
precision routing and fabrication, PSM created a display unit
that fulfilled the customer's needs. |

Results.
After the initial shipment, retailers requested other units for
a variety of settings. PSM met the challenge by creating 2, 3
and 4 foot modular units that are produced as efficiently as
runs of one size. As a result, not two runs of the display have
been the same, yet the project has been on time and within budget. |
